A desktop POS with a long public history
Store POS has been public on GitHub for years — first as an Electron + jQuery app, now rebuilt as Electron + React + Express with SQLite. It stays free for standalone and LAN use. Cloud sync is optional and lives on this private cloud platform when you need it.
- Free forever offline — one PC or a LAN of tills without a subscription.
- Source available — clone, inspect, and contribute on GitHub.
- Windows installer — ship from electron-builder; download from this site when a release build is present.
- Separate from cloud — this website's SaaS code is private; the desktop product remains the public project.
